Fantastic campsite in a fantastic location. Views of two glaciers and a high waterfall, simply breathtaking. High standard cabins with great views. The sauna is at your disposal every evening. Cooking area in the barn for grill, electric oven, microwave etc. Small shop. Large pitches. Dayparking area on the other side of the river, for day visit to Briksdal glacier. Café and outdoor barn. Walk and viewpoints around the camping.

Quiet location, friendly staff. Great for kids (trampolines, go karts, frisbee golf). Places partly with own water connection, wooden deck and bench with table. Sanitary area has hotel quality and is very clean.

Welcome to Matland Fjordcamp. In our farm Matland Gård by the Ådland Fjord we are now offering motor homes to stay at our beautiful place. You are so close to the water that you can step right into it. The view is spectacular and it is very peaceful. In the mornings you can hear the birds and probably also the sheep are awake. You can do activities or just relax at our marina. We have a small natural beach where you can take a swim or just look after crabs and other sea creatures. On the marina we also have a diving tower to jump off. You can rent boats, kayaks and SUP boards. A small rowing boats for the children is for free for them to use. We also have a small yacht for Fjord Adventures- guided tours- to Austevoll, Salmon Eye, Hardanger fjords or just for going fishing in open sea in our beautiful fjords. If you like to fish you can also do it right outside your motor home or in our river. We have a table where you can gut the fish. If you like to hike in the mountains there are many trails pretty close to our place and you can walk from your motor home. In our farm you can meet some animals if you want to. We have sheep, chickens, peacocks, a horse, a rabbit, dogs and cats. You can buy and pick fresh eggs in the mornings. We only have 7 available spots for motor homes/ caravan so you need to order in advance by calling or sending text message. In our boathouse we have a stage where we sometimes put on the music and let your children be stars for a evening. If we have larger arrangements in our boathouse there will only be a few spots available. You are very welcome to our beautiful place at Matland Gård.
