The bus stops (public transport links to Berlin: travel time approx. 5-10 minutes) are also a 3-minute walk away. reachable. The bus runs every 20 minutes. The campsite "Ludwig Leichhard" is very nice and uncomplicated. A beautiful forest with free spaces to search for yourself. There are clean, fully equipped sanitary cottages, electricity, free running water all over the grounds, many recreational facilities (volleyball court, playgrounds, ...), a kiosk and direct access to a small beach on the lake.

Our little "paradise" is right in the middle... :-) ...between Berlin and Leipzig, in the middle of Lutherstadt Wittenberg and the historic town of Torgau, between Magdeburg and Dresden, almost exactly halfway along the Elbe cycle path and close to the B2, which connects Munich and Berlin! The motorhome parking space is in a very idyllic, quiet location right next to a horse farm (Birkenhof Oppin riding facility). It was newly furnished in April 2024 and is open from April to October. It is very easy to relax on a well-kept lawn in the middle of nature, but only about 3 km from the motorway. There is also a truck stop nearby. Dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a leash. Electricity is available from the machine, water and residual waste disposal are available. The parking fee is to be paid in cash at the ticket office.
