Good place to park up for the night, plenty of people coming and going till late but never bothered me. good access to the canal and river, always full of rubbish even tho there's a bin in the carpark.
Grand parking à côté du canal. La route d'accès a quelques nids-de-poule / ralentisseurs mais n'a eu aucun problème dans notre camping-car. Accès facile au canal pour la pêche/canoë. Grand parking de nuit, très calme et paisible. Espace gazonné avec banc de pique-nique. Itinéraires pédestres vers les villes locales balisés, vous pouvez choisir d'emprunter le chemin du canal ou à travers la campagne.
Large car park next to the canal. Access road does have some potholes/speed bumps but had no problem in our camper. Easy access to the canal for fishing/canoeing.
Great overnight parking, very quiet and peaceful.

Walking routes to local towns signposted you can choose to go via the canal path or across the countryside.
Großer Parkplatz neben dem Kanal. Die Zufahrtsstraße hat einige Schlaglöcher / Bremsschwellen, hatte aber in unserem Wohnmobil kein Problem. Einfacher Zugang zum Kanal zum Angeln/Kanufahren. Tolles Parken über Nacht, sehr ruhig und friedlich. Rasenfläche mit Picknickbank. Wanderrouten zu umliegenden Städten sind ausgeschildert. Sie können wählen, ob Sie über den Kanalweg oder über die Landschaft gehen möchten.
Amplio parking junto al canal. El camino de acceso tiene algunos baches/baches de velocidad, pero no tuvo ningún problema en nuestra caravana. Fácil acceso al canal para pescar/piragüismo. Gran estacionamiento nocturno, muy tranquilo y pacífico. Zona de césped con banco de picnic. Rutas a pie a los pueblos locales señalizados que puede optar por ir por el camino del canal o por el campo.
Ampio parcheggio vicino al canale. La strada di accesso ha alcune buche / dossi ma non ha avuto problemi nel nostro camper. Facile accesso al canale per la pesca/canottaggio. Ottimo parcheggio notturno, molto silenzioso e tranquillo. Area erbosa con panca da picnic. Percorsi a piedi per le città locali segnalati, puoi scegliere di percorrere il sentiero del canale o attraverso la campagna.
Grote parkeerplaats naast het kanaal. Toegangsweg heeft wel wat kuilen/verkeersdrempels maar had geen probleem in onze camper. Gemakkelijke toegang tot het kanaal om te vissen/kanoën. Geweldige 's nachts parkeren, zeer rustig en vredig. Grasveld met picknickbank. Wandelroutes naar lokale steden bewegwijzerd, u kunt ervoor kiezen om via het kanaalpad of over het platteland te gaan.

Ogami13/10/2023no longer accessible, padlocked gate after the bridge, before the carpark, and an awkward turn in the dark to get back out. shame because it was a great little stop over.

I went there during the day. It is rough getting into the car park and there is a tight turn over a bridge that would be incredibly difficult in a long motorhome. A couple of level spots otherwise slightly sloped. Good EE and Vodafone. Not dirty at least when I visited. Strange place and odd people park there is all I can say but I never felt unsafe. I would have no issue parking overnight but I would not park and leave my van there unattended.

Stayed for one night on a Thursday in April. Take it slow as you approach the car park as the speed bumps are not particularly friendly. The spot is level, but absolutely filthy. Despite there being a bin in next to a picnic table it seems the locals don't have a lot of respect for it. We stayed from 3pm to the next morning and there was a constant steam of cars coming and going. Very busy.
grahamgammin08/05/2022As others say entrance full of potholes but doable. We spent 2 nights here. 1st night lovely and quiet all good. 2nd night (Saturday) it soon became obvious that this is a popular ‘dogging’ site. Beware!

really nice spot, very quiet g beautiful place to wake up. if you're concerned about potholes you should definitely avoid it. we were fine in the old transit though. parked midweek and it was empty.
