A great pub with some of the best fish and chips we have ever had. No need to pay to stay as we had also booked to eat in the resturant in advance so they knew we were coming. Very close to the Saltmarshes for nice walks.

Beautiful pub in a beautiful village and lovely walks around. £20 or free if eating in the pub. Service was exceptional, staff so friendly. We had an amazing meal and very peaceful nights sleep here. Highly recommend

£20 for the night, if you eat, you get it back. Cracking rustic pub with a large amount of space for eating and very dog friendly. Food is good. Parking is level and quiet.

ate a meal at 2pm spending £45 asked about staying in carpark was told its £20 by a young waiter and you had to eat in the evening for it to be deducted from the bill. Asked someone different later at the bar and was told it was fine and he took a note of our van reg . Nice quiet night. busy pub ,cosy fires and dog friendly. food OK but it was overpriced for 2 main courses and 2 soft drinks

Decided on staying here also. Very very dog friendly and great food in a cute pub with log fires and cosy corners to sit in. I enquired about staying over at about 5pm and they said it was £20 which would be deducted from the restaurant bill. I said I would think about it. Then at 7pm we went in again to eat and offered to pay the £20...they told us not to bother

We weren’t sure about attempting this one given the most recent reviews. Upon arrival we were told that it would be £20 to park overnight BUT this would then be deducted from our bill if we ate there. As it was so close to dinner already though, they didn’t even bother taking the money from us just to give it back an hour later. Nice pub and decent food though.

Stayed there this weekend 2 years after staying there last. Just booked prior to the £10pn changing to £25 plus you now have to eat there. Nice level quiet car park and great walks. We won’t be back I’m afraid.

The charge is now £25 plus you have to eat and drink there !

Great overnight stopover in the car park for £10.00. Full access to pub facilities and we had an evening meal there too. A short walk to the creek with lovely views. Recommended.

Fantastic location lovely car park flat made up of gravel. After paying £10 lovely staff toilets available when open but as it’s a hotel it must be 24/7 beautiful surroundings will definitely be back when in the area

  • 5/5

Nice quiet location. Walking distance to the beach. Food great in the pub (recommend the Lifeboat Burger).

  • 5/5

Perfect could not fault will definitely be coming back quite, flat ground, the pub staff are so friendly, not near any main roads, tv signal good and walking distance away from beach

  • 5/5

Very accommodating, decent flat hard standing and not a rowdy pub so we had a restful night. The area seems to be anti- overnight parking so this was a welcome haven!

  • 5/5

a lovely pub with a bird sanctuary adjacent with a path to the sea. £10 per night charge now.

  • 1/5

Don’t bother going they don’t allow overnights now !

Very unfriendly and unhelpful. Called on 28/7/20 to ask if we could stay overnight and were told very bluntly that we couldn't

Stayed one night in late Feb. Very peaceful evening, only had drinks in the bar didn’t eat. Spoke to the barman and he was happy for us to stay in the carpark without paying but that was in the very low season.

Really lovely pub with roaring fires. Didn't eat here but the food looked great. Was informed that breakfast was £12.50 each if we want it don't need to book. £10 per night to park with the camper in the carpark. No EHC

Quiet gravel car park. £10 a night. nice friendly staff in pub. the lifeboat inn

  • 4/5

Really nice stop. The Lifeboat Inn are relaxed about campervans etc. staying. Their food is pricey but excellent cuisine. Go for the set menu which is much better value. From 8 - 10am breakfast is also available. Again highly priced at £12.50. Further down the lane there is wilder camping with excellent views but be careful there can be tidal overflows so check the tables first
