Dear travelers and campers, The Lipa Plac Postojna campervan parking lot is conveniently located next to the road connecting the center of Postojna, the Postojna Cave Park and Predjama Castle, with the Lipa Plac restaurant adjacent to the parking lot. In the period from 19/04/2025 to 04/05/2025 and 24/06/2025 to 03/11/2025 you can take shuttle bus for free (voucher is available in the restaurant) driving every half hour to Postojna Cave and to Predjama castle. The bus station is just next to LIPA PLAC RV PARKING. Guests who pay parking are served with Slovenian welcome in our restaurant which is just next to the parking and which offers different food, also Slovenian traditional food, spoon food, grill, calamari, meat, burgers, salads, desserts etc. 24€ per night per campervan. The price includes a parking space, water, electricity and shared sanitary facilities (toilets, sinks and showers). The toilets are also accessible for disabled people. Wi-Fi is free for all Lipa Plac guests. The location has a large lawn and a children's playground, creating an ideal setting for families. We also offer electric bicycle rental services. At the center of the property, there's a small 19th-century building with a tower and a facade, surrounded by old stone walls, once part of a lookout or defence post. Our grounds feature spacious terraces with tables and chairs, perfect for relaxation and socialising. Amenities include a bathroom, electricity connections, drinking water, and a lush vegetable garden with seasonal produce—including rosemary, mint, and sage—to flavour your meals. The entire area is yours to explore, with expansive green spaces and a hilltop terrace inviting you to pause and take in the panoramic views. RESERVATIONS: Reservations are required via phone, the contact form on our website, or by email. HOW TO GET THERE: As you approach the address, you'll see two columns with an open gate. Proceed through the gate and follow the road up the hill until you reach the parking area. LOCATION: Our camper stop is less than 4 km from the historic center of Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site worth visiting. The town is easily accessible by bike or a pleasant 40-minute walk through the valley. The Slovenian border is nearby: Kobarid is just 30 minutes away, and Bovec is approximately 50 minutes. The Adriatic resorts of Grado, Lignano, and Bibione are all reachable in under an hour for a smooth daily trip. ACTIVITIES: During your stay, enjoy various activities nearby, including hiking, cycling, wine tours, tastings at local wineries, and more... For a unique experience, guests can rent a Vespa or Quad bike (request at least 24 hours before). Additionally, within 20 minutes, you can participate in fun Quad bike tours suitable for all levels and perfect for families.
