2 x car parks with a limited height restrictions and a lay-by option for bigger motorhomes with no parking conditions. We parked our camper overnight, opposite the M&C pub, overlooking the estuary and was quiet and no problem. Bus to Liverpool a bus 5 min walk away.
2 x Parkhäuser mit begrenzter Höhe und eine Rastmöglichkeit für größere Reisemobile ohne Parkbedingungen. Wir parkten unser Wohnmobil über Nacht, gegenüber dem M & C Pub, mit Blick auf die Mündung und war ruhig und kein Problem. Bus nach Liverpool einen Bus 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Few car parks in this area, barriers were open. Close to mersey, good for dog walk by the front. Large grassy area for the kids, few bins about. No toilets. We didn’t stay as there was endless cars playing music and too much noise. Went to nearby omskirk, as didn’t feel like we would get any sleep. This may be due to the hot weather tho!?

Stayed 3 nights in October. Out of the way from housing etc. Plenty of spaces, a few other motorhomes, felt safe. Do hear cars coming into the car park, some music but only till 11pm. Will use again
Lovely free overnight location within walking distance to the bus stop for Liverpool Albert Dock. £2 one way per adult . Cycle path along the promenade. Views of the River Mersey . Miller & Carter steak house just across from the car park. Litter bin on site . Will use again .

Mostly quiet. Next to a huge grassed field leading down to river Mersey. Zero facilities. Does have a Miller & Carter Steak House 2 mins walk away. There is also some kind of sports facility behind. I did wonder if you can use showers etc for a small fee. Fantastic views across the estuary Currently (June 2024) the height barriers are tied open, allowing entry by most vehicles.
Stayed here for several nights during the first week of May. It felt secure, with other vans nearby and was quiet. The car park surface isn't quite flat (slops towards the water). Would definitely recommend.
Un parking pratique et calme la nuit très proche de Liverpool. Des voitures viennent écouter de la musique mais les dernières sont parties à 23h. J'ai plus été gêner par les fourgons qui laissent le moteur allumé durant 1h soir et matin pour le chauffage.
very good opportunity to stay overnight for a visit of Liverpool or to take the ferry to Ireland on the next morning. Actually pretty quiet, good to take a walk along the coast. No facilities though. there were quite a few vans and motorhomes. but there are at least two different parking lots.
Great place to stop over, great walks and only a 20 min cycle ride into Liverpool! Only downside was kids in there cars, loud music amongst other things. most left by 10.30/ 11pm but my lovely neighbours were there until 1am. After that, great night's sleep. Few other campers with me too. Lovely pub 30 min walk (5 min bike ride) as well. Will come back again, maybe avoid Friday nights
parfait pour visiter Liverpool ! il n'y a plus de restriction de hauteur,grandes places pour se garer, à plat sur bitume, grand espace vert à côté et le bus 500 est à 5 minutes à pied pour aller en centre ville en 15 minutes ! un peu de bruit en soirée mais très calme la nuit. privilégier le 2ème parking car le premier est plus proche du rond point et plus de circulation et de voitures garées
Lying here now listening to the seabirds after a very quiet night. This is a super spot. About 10pm there was a bit of tooting from some kids presumably but it was only a 10 minute bit of revving. We were the only van here and it has been one of my favourite spots. Miller and Carter handy also. Also a very handily placed double drain
Great stop over. Few car parks to choose from. There was cars hanging around but we felt safe in a pack of other vans, maybe not so much if there wasn't other vans about (two women and a toddler). Walkers fill the carpark up in the morning as expected. Right on the front of the Mersey so plenty of walking opportunities. Can imagine multiple nights there wouldn't be a problem. Will go again.
Great little spot. Carry on past this pin and the pub and it gets even better! Wide, quiet road with lots of room and brilliant views.
Otterspool is beautiful, and in the morning very peaceful. One warning: we stayed on a weekend night and there were quite a lot of kids racing their cars along the road through the night, tyres squealing and slipstream shaking the van. Nothing bad happened and no one bothered us, but it's worth knowing about in advance.
I can confirm there is no more height restriction and this place is quieter and flatter than the other carpark too. Nice spot and perfect to stay when picking someone up from the airport.
No height restriction in june 2021. Peacefull and nice place to sleep a night. Nice views too.
parfait pour stationner et aller visiter Liverpool.Soit a pied par la piste qui longe la mer (environ 1h) ,soit le Vélo ,ou le Bus ( ligne 500) dont l'arrêt est juste à côté après le rond-point, Nous avons dormi la pendant le Jubilé (3 nuits) et pas de soucis ,à part quelques voitures de jeunes qui s'arrêtent dans la soirée pour écouter de la musique. Seul inconvénient,il n'y a pas de toilette
Prachtige plek. Met fiets langs promenade naar Liverpool. Heerlijk restaurant aan overzijde weg. S nachts ook rustig.

Die Höhenbeschränkung war außer betrieb. Wir konnten mit Blick aufs Wasser frühstücken. Wir haben nicht übernachtet, ist aber sicher gut dafür. Sehr ruhig.
Stayed overnight on Tuesday. Was relatively quiet with plenty of space to park up. There's a couple of carpark areas and most of the road is free of restrictions. Very few vehicles after 11pm. Plenty of bins. Fabulous view to wake up to on the morning. Great area for walking my 3 dogs. There's even outdoor exercise equipment for those that like to keep fit. Great little stopover place.
Stayed one night while visiting Liverpool. Lovely view and quite quiet. Bins. No facilities.
Stay here all the time, think there is 3 car parks with all the hight barriers open. Nice views of the Mersey. Cars come and go which is expected also the otters pool adventure centre is there. Nice little park for the kids to.

Limited height bars for car park not in place currently. However, I parked on road, so I had clear view across wide grass area to the river. (See photo early morning.) Saw beautiful sunset over Mersey. Children at playground in evening but no bother. A bit of music/partying much later, but at a distance. No trouble at all and calm morning. Would definitely come here again.
