There's a well-balanced atmosphere at this site, as the team have worked hard over the years to manage and landscape the grounds so that there’s a good combination of nature and fishing. Anglers have access to five lakes with a variety of fish up for grabs, including catfish (weighing in at over 95 lbs), carp, tench, silverfish and more.

Plus, there’s a splendid set-up in terms of facilities, with a toilet and shower block that’s kept toasty by underfloor heating, a washing-up area, washing machines, information room, Elsan points and the reception area. All the grassy pitches have access to electric hook-up (how handy).

When you’re not unwinding around the acres of space around this well-kept site or spending an afternoon fishing, you could take off onto the miles of paths around Thetford Forest or head further out onto the Norfolk coast, which will take you around an hour’s drive or just over.
