I loved it here, fantastic walking nearby. so surprised to see the beautiful dale, gorge at the back of the campsite with crystal blue river. walked to pub and back, drove to Bakewell for farmers market. spotless warm loos peaceful pretty atmospheric spot!

We booked 1 night, but added a 2nd. Clean toilets. We had a lovely long walk in the nature reserve.Turn left out of the campsite, walk 1/2 mile to Mill farm, turn left into the farm, and follow the public footpath signs to the bottom of the valley. The only negative was the chemical disposal point,it was full to the top with raw sewage. You need a strong stomach to empty your cassette in there.

Really nice views here. Recommend bringing wheel chocks (levellers) to make your van more level. Saw a few campers having fires. There’s a waste disposal point, a water tap with potable water, and about 4 basic toilets (bring your own toilet paper). 12 pounds for 2 of us in a campervan

Great place to stop. The owner is very nice to talk to. The campsite has a nice relaxed, chilled out vibe. We will be back her if in the area again.

Great nights stay, parked up easily with only a handful of other campers. Well run and friendly owner. Very easy to get in contact - got us out the field with no problem after getting stuck. Facilities include toilets, running water, waste disposal. Lovely views will definitely be back :)

Beautiful campsite, very windy the night we were there, not sure if that’s usual. Lots of people but after 11pm pretty quiet. A bit off the beaten path but worth it for the view and quiet.

Nice basic campsite for price. Good location for access to the peak District. Not too far from Bakewell.

Good cheap night at £12 for the night to explore the area, cheapest site around, but only facilities is just 3 outdoor cubicle, Was a bit of queuing here and there but for the money can't grumble! No toilet roll in toilets too so make sure you have your own. Grass very long too so prepare for wet feet in a morning walking to toilet. Can't grumble for the price just a few heads ups.

Last minute booking - £12 for a night! Couldn’t believe the price! That was for the van, awning plus dog! Great wonderful location, very peaceful and loads of space. Nice walk to a lovely friendly pub with a view. Basic toilets but clean, fresh water to drink. Fire pits are allowed but you have to purchase the wood on-site, £5 per large sack. Highly recommended!
