mooie rustige parkeerplaats. dichtbij stad en winkels. het museum is de moete waard om te bezoeken. hebben hier een nacht gestaan.
Le bassin de Portland en tant que musée parking gratuit belles promenades sur le canal, Asda à proximité ainsi que d'autres magasins et sandwicheries qui ouvrent tôt pour vous remplir avant de reprendre la route et il y a une vidéosurveillance pour que vous vous sentiez en sécurité aussi le musée est gratuit et comme toilettes
Portland basin as a museum free parking nice canal walks, Asda close by plus more shops and sandwich shop which opens early to fill yourself up before hitting the road again plus there is cctv so you feel safe aswell the museum is free admission and as toilets

Surprisingly nice spot in the middle of town. Quiet, feels safe (CCTV) and nice walks and stores about. Not flat but if you drive right to the back, next to the canal it’s not too slanted.

nice quiet place, unexpected one I must admit being in the middle of town almost. I parked right at the bottom next to canal at the back of museum. no facilities sure but a nice place to walk dogs and have a meander up the canal tow path.
whaler03/04/2024a nice safe park up free ..its basically a carpark on a sloping cobbled street right alongside the canal ..and the museum is well worth a visit
BerthasUnderside06/08/2023Great stay, nice and quiet, not much movement and loads of space. Not very level at any point but you can get sideways if it’s as empty as is was for us! Museum opens at 10 and even then it was still quiet. Nothing special hence 4 star, just a car park but a safe one with cameras and close amenities. Great walks down the canal too.

unbelievably quiet overnight stay. slightly sloping. 10 mins walk to the fantastic Lily's veggie curry house and deli. you can't believe you are in a town ( apart from the excellent shopping/eating facilities nearby!)
