Used for an overnighter while walking the Ridgeway, visiting the White Horse of Uffington, Wayland Smithy and Hillfort. Nice and level, but the hedgerow is encroaching, making the parking spaces a big snug. Still good for campervans but larger motorhomes may struggle. Very quiet and peaceful at night, good opportunity for stargazing as no light pollution nearby.
Super spot to stop for a night. Good walk for the dogs on the ridgeway and phone signal wS OK. There is pheasant shooting each day at this time of year which starts at Sun up and can be close.
Decent signal / 4g on EE. Flat gravel and tarmac car park with a few potholes, similar smaller parking across the road with a slightly tucked away spot for a smaller van than ours (XLWB) road very quiet overnight, windy (it always is here) but reasonably sheltered.
