7th time here lots of walking direct from campsite there is hard standing or grass we are on levelling blocks shower and toilets nice and clean staff pleasant this is a big site but big pitches
Salut à tous, je viens de passer 3 nuits sur ce charmant site dans la famille d'accueil de Dean (camping Braceland), de superbes vues et de nombreuses promenades. La rivière Wye à environ 10 minutes à pied. Pistes cyclables et sentiers pédestres dans toutes les directions. Paddle board / GO APE et bien plus encore dans la zone. Stationnement gratuit aux alentours. Cerfs sauvages autour du site pendant la nuit. GL167NP
Hi all just had 3 night at this lovely site in the foster of Dean (Braceland campsite) great views & lots of walks. The river wye about a 10 minute walk. Biking trails & walking trails off in every direction. Paddle boarding / GO APE & plenty more within the Area. Free parking in the surrounding areas. Wild deer around the site during the night. Hallo zusammen, ich hatte gerade 3 Nächte an diesem schönen Ort in der Pflege von Dean (Braceland Campingplatz) mit toller Aussicht und vielen Spaziergängen. Der Fluss Wye ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Rad- und Wanderwege in alle Richtungen. Paddle-Boarding / GO APE & vieles mehr in der Umgebung. Kostenlose Parkplätze in der Umgebung. Wilde Hirsche um das Gelände während der Nacht. GL167NP

Ciclovías y senderos para caminar en todas las direcciones. Paddle board / GO APE y mucho más en la zona. Aparcamiento gratuito en las inmediaciones. Ciao a tutti, ho appena trascorso 3 notti in questo incantevole sito presso l'alloggio in famiglia di Dean (campeggio di Braceland), panorami fantastici e molte passeggiate. Il fiume Wye a circa 10 minuti a piedi. Piste ciclabili e percorsi pedonali in tutte le direzioni. Paddle board / GO APE e tanto altro in zona. Parcheggio gratuito nelle vicinanze. Hallo allemaal, heb net 3 nachten doorgebracht op deze mooie camping bij Dean's homestay (camping Braceland), geweldig uitzicht en veel wandelingen. De rivier de Wye ongeveer 10 minuten lopen. Fietspaden en wandelpaden in alle richtingen. Paddleboard / GO APE en nog veel meer in de omgeving. Gratis parkeren in de buurt. Wilde herten rond de camping 's nachts. GL167NP

VanStefani13/10/2024Beautiful site, with a lovely vibe! We booked a night here for my daughter’s birthday and it happily coincided with their pizza van, which is there 5-8pm most Saturdays… absolutely delicious! Toilets and showers are really clean and the fields are spacious, we found a quiet spot even though it was busy. Close to loads of great walks. Top tip: Pack the levelling blocks, the site is on a slope!
wilfthevw09/07/2024One night stay turned in to two as area was so nice. Lovely walking direct from the site. Much of the site is sloping but it wasn’t hard to find somewhere we could park with ramps and have lovely views. Clean toilets etc. cost 19.55 per night ( no ehu ,two over 60s and campervan)

Est ce une Arnaque ? Ce camping refuse de rembourser une réservation qui ne lui était pas destinée ! En allant sur "contact" puis "site Web" pour effectuer une réservation dans un camping ecossais sur P4N, c'est le site Web de Braceland qui s'est affiché et sur lequel j'ai fait ma réservation. Impossible de me faire rembourser ! Attitude bien peu commerciale!

Die meisten Stellplätze sind auf der Rasenfläche und abschüssig. Die Sanitärhäuschen sind gepflegt. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Aber 35£ für eine Nacht und 2 Personen ohne Strom ist übertrieben teuer! Gut, aber preislich nicht zu empfehlen

Wonderful place in winter absolutely FULL of deer, and evidence of wild boar ( though we didn't see any). Lovely walks. In the middle of nature but a 15/20 minute walk from a small village and local shops. Enormous campsite which in summer would be very busy, but sedate in winter. All services very clean and functional. Hard standing. Toilets/ showers rather utilitarian and outdated. £26 inc EHU.

We enjoyed it here. We used this site for our first multi night stay in the van. The weather wasn't great but it is the end of October. The area and walks are amazing. Definitely recommend
rgivy19/08/2023Very nice stay. Could choose our own spot, not too difficult finding somewhere level enough. Could be difficult when it gets muddy but we have chains. Ablutions clean and nice shower. Friendly staff.
jenjentenby14/08/2023Stayed 2 nights as had my granddaughter visiting my van. Great site, large, next to the woods with lots of footpaths in. The showers were lovely and hot, good washing up facilities and water taps easily located. Laundry facilities and small shop. £28 for 2 adults and toddler in high season. I would stay again.

Stayed here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful campsite, wild deer on site during the day. Showers were nice and warm. Could choose our own spot, staff were very friendly. Loads of walks just off site.

Large spacious grass or gravel pitch campsite in the middle of the FOD. We cycled from the campsite to Symonds Yat. Also walked down to the river Wye. Well situated for walkers. Local pub was nearly 2 miles away. Toilets and showers were clean and plenty of them. It’s a large capacity site. But it was not busy when we stayed. Forestry commission run.

This is a big site and attracts lots of families. One of the shower blocks was closed during my stay, but there are plenty of others. A mix of hard standing & grass pitches, some of the grass does not have electric. 3-nights on grass, no electric, for me & dog, £45 at beginning of September, with electric, £68. Many of the grass pitches have a severe slope, so leveling blocks are essential.
