Quelques places de parking en face du pub. Calme et paisible, personne ne m'a dérangé de 21h00 à 8h00. La nourriture au pub est fantastique. (Le cheval noir) et le propriétaire très sympathique, grand parking qui pourrait être possible de rester si demandé. Près de Foxton Locks, un endroit idéal pour une promenade, à distance de marche ou vous pouvez conduire et vous garer près des écluses. Quelques voitures sont passées dans la matinée, mais probablement 4 en une heure.
A few off road parking spots opposite the pub. Quiet and peaceful, no one bothered me from 9pm-8am. Food in pub is fantastic. (The Black Horse) and the owner very friendly, large car park that might be possible to stay in if requested. Close to Foxton Locks, a great place for a walk, within walking distance or you could drive and park at the Locks. A few cars passed in the morning, but probably 4 in an hour.
Ein paar Parkplätze gegenüber der Kneipe. Ruhig und friedlich, niemand hat mich von 21:00 Uhr bis 8:00 Uhr gestört. Das Pub-Essen ist fantastisch. (Le Cheval Noir) und sehr freundlicher Besitzer, ausreichend Parkplätze, die auf Anfrage möglicherweise genutzt werden können. In der Nähe von Foxton Locks, ein großartiger Ort für einen Spaziergang, zu Fuß erreichbar, oder Sie können in der Nähe der Schleusen fahren und parken. Quiet spot in village of Foxton opposite The Black Horse. only big enough for Transporters or smaller. Wouldn't be fair to have more than a couple staying here as opposite residential premises. Only one spot level. There is a bin. Pub does very good food.
The parking isn’t suitable for larger vehicles, I’d say Vw Caddy maximum and was on a slope. The pub and tea room is great especially the outdoor area with the tent/ sail. The staff are friendly and helpful, suggesting I move to the car park ( I didn’t as I was all set up) but maybe should have as that was level! I slept well as it is very peaceful area. Tea room was open Sunday morning.
Lovely park up when passing through. We stayed at the lay-by which isn’t completely flat but fine for us. The barman at the pub was lovely and said there would have been no problem staying in the carpark - the landlord just likes a donation to air ambulance. Lovely canal walk nearby. Lots of canal dwellers at the pub, which is also dog friendly. We didn’t eat but the food looked good.
Nice spot and quiet spot for a night. Opposite the pub... Wanted to go for a drink before hitting the bed but it was raining through out the night, had to give it a miss. There's a cafe which serves breakfast, unfortunately they don't open on Sundays (not yet at least)
Fine for an overnight (in a small van). The café over the road does breakfast. However, there are no other shops nearby. It's really just another Pub stop in front of a nice Church (and a good outflow from Foxton locks).
