Grand parking plat près du village de Tilshead, suffisamment d'espace pour plusieurs camping-cars le long d'une route calme à côté de la plaine de Salisbury. Beaucoup de promenades avec les chiens, nous avons passé une nuit paisible

Lovely peaceful site, fabulous walks, lovely village and very quiet at night apart from the odd tank going past. Highly recommended for an overnight.

Stayed Sun - Wed with no issues. Few other campers and cars come & go. Tilhead village 1/2 mile away. Very scenic and garage very friendly with Londis mini mart for things needed. Impression I got was campers & vans welcome if you are well behaved and don't overstay your welcome.ng for litter etc. Great views looking out over Salisbury Plane. Great sunrises & sunsets. Walks look great as well

Brilliant. As an Ex-Soldier the sound of the artillery from afar was quite refreshing. 5G signal on EE is medium/high. Only a few dogwalkers. Quiet at night from 1800 until 0800. No bins so take rubbish with you.
crewser3adventures12/02/2025Large car park with plenty of room. We stayed here for 1 night on New Year’s Eve as the drive lane next to Stonehenge was closed completely. Peaceful night. Lots of dog walkers. Opposite tank ranges.

Lovely spot. Plenty of room, so didn't feel a menace to the locals. Someone was driving around the car park doing donuts and screeching wheels in the evening but it didn't last long. Another one or 2 vans there too. Beautiful view. Great vodafone signal. No bins.
nighthawk10129/09/2024Great spot. Peaceful and safe. There are some portaloos over the road behind the trees. Great for stargazing as no lights around. Dog walkers in the morning but no problems all said hello and got on with their day.

Wir hatten leider doch etwas Verkehr auf der gleich daneben liegenden Straße. Ansonsten aber ein guter und großer Stellplatz.

Ein sehr ruhiger großer Platz in 15 min Entfernung zu Stonehenge. Weitere Plätze in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Kostenlos. So gut wie kein Verkehr.

Spot calme dès 19h car placé sur le rebord d’un axe routier fréquenté le matin et le soir.

This is a great spot. Level with great views. Road noise died down about 7pm and started again about 7am. A few cars parked up in the evening and morning to walk dogs. We were joined by a few soldiers first thing as it is surrounded by training land.

Great spot, big area and nice and flat, seems to be quiet in the evenings, a bit busier in the morning with dog walkers. Nice views.

Grand parking plat, à côté de la route. Nous avons passé une bonne nuit (peu de voiture) Réveillé vers 8h par des motos cross. Quelques promeneurs avec des chiens et des cavaliers.

Great parking! flat, hard standing 5g signal space for large vans, 7.5t. quiet with dog walkers first thing. possibly exposed on West side if the wind is strong.

great little stop over for one night, when you turn off the road, turn right into big car park, peaceful night with very little road noise, heading to Longleat festival of light

Stayed one night in autumn, very busy during daylight hours but quietened down in the evening had a peaceful night after a bit of early evening artillery fire nearby.
