The Shepherds Arms is a lovely local pub and restaurant, situated high in the hills with walking access to amazing views of Huddersfield. Customers of the bar/restaurant are more than welcome to park overnight in the CCTV monitored car park.

A small car park, but good and flat. We arrived around 5.30pm and it was full, but it turns out the teatime trade all left by 6pm and we were able to tuck into the corner. We enjoyed a drink in the bar and they were happy for us to stay overnight. The pub is up for let so not sure if this service will continue in the future. There was no food on offer in the pub. Very friendly!
Very good stay - quiet, flat car park and safe. I arrived late and just had a drink in the pub, which was friendly and comfortable.
A lovely pub with stunning views, next door to a Indian restaurant/takeaway. Cctv, plenty of space for a large camper. Staff are warm and accommodating.
Excellent host, very helpful and enjoyed a drink in the bar. No food, but Indian restaurant attached to the pub. Highly recommended
Stopped on the car park last night 28/02/23. Lovely welcoming pub, unfortunately we’re not cooking on a Tuesday evening but the beer was perfect, car park was quiet and no noise at night.
A lovely little pub with great food and drink as a coeliac they catered for ever thing and a wide range at that !! A nice welcome on arrival level car park and as it says it’s free if you spend time in the pub a safe location to stay we will be back
