Great stopover for a night while visiting Ludlow. Nice and flat, cheap, toilets open in the day. I think it’s two nights max and we have seen people/caravans and Vanlifers moved on. So don’t abuse this space, stay a night, leave no trace and move on .there are several car parks and places for roadside parking. We visit Ludlow a lot and have never had a problem parking up for an overnight stop .

Stayed Friday night 40p per hour free between 6pm and 8am. Used one of the 3 concrete bays in the corner by the main road - level with plenty of room and didn't find it noisy. Quite quiet Friday afternoon but absolutely rammed on Saturday morning. Paid on the Mipermit app so could top up payment at 8 am without getting out of bed. Excellent stop, thanks to the Council.

Good overnight here, relatively quiet evening but does get busier in morning from 7.30/8. Parking was free from 6-8am & paid just £1.60 for 4 extra hours to enable walk into lovely town for breakfast/shops. Good signal too

  • 4/5

Cheap and nr town centre, go up the hill. The loos were handy and were open before 8am. There are 3 longer bays next to the toilets, good for LWB. It's not quiet or attractive though. It's next to a key road and cars going past from 5.30am. That said it gives permission for motor homes so that is positive.

Great to stay the full day and night, we stayed 2 days, with toilet next to us. Lovely town and only 3.20 pounds per day. Walking distance to center and castle etc, a market next to castle

  • 5/5

Great car park, good size with plenty of larger spaces for vans/motorhomes. We stayed on a Saturday night so didn’t have to pay as nights are free as well as Sundays. Quiet spot and toilets are very clean. Short walk into town with plenty of pubs around. Would definitely recommend :)

stayed for one night on Saturday, very peaceful brilliantly located for access to town and castle. Really pretty open with lots of character, castle is very nice with loads of history. Free overnight as we arrived after 6pm loads of space 3 other vans there, toilets clean and accessible

Stayed for one night in our 6.5m Peugeot boxer and had a very peaceful night's sleep. The location is brilliant, it's only 5 minutes walk into the town and charges are ridiculously cheap. Motorhomes are permitted and it's only £3.40 a day or free on Sundays.

  • 5/5

A nice quiet nights stay no disturbances toilets are spotless a few spaces for large motorhome. Free after 6pm and Sundays highly recommended

Stopped one night and enjoyed a peaceful, undisturbed sleep. Carpark toilets are clean with instant hot water. i think they are locked around 10pm. Great base from which to visit the town. Flatish pitches.

  • 4/5

Very close to town centre, easy access for all size of vehicles, public toilets open all night, no nuisance disturbances at night, however some designated Motorhome bays are right by the main road/a junction so traffic noise can be an issue up to 11pm and from 6am if you are a light sleeper. Moved across the car park for 2nd night, much quieter ? Reasonably priced during day, free 6pm to 8am.

Brilliant location! Such an amazing town. Stayed here 2 nights no bother at all. Great internet.

  • 5/5

excellent location for the town. some long bays next to the 9 coach bays . a few motorhomes using the coach bays ( I didn't risk it ) I waited for a long bay and moved in there . there are some next to the toilets but they are slightly sloping. disabled toilet open 24 hours.we got here at 1:30 on Saturday and it cost me £1.75 untill Monday morning has a bin and a bench and a nice sunny position

  • 5/5

Free from 6pm to 8am, no height barrier, level enough to use without ramps, 3 marked long bays and 9 coach bays. Excellent provision! Recycling bins, short walk to the town centre. Paid £2 for 5 hours daytime parking. Ok so it's December and will be busier in summer but it's a good place to stay over. By a road junction but quiet overnight.

  • 5/5

Great car park. Close into town. Loos with a disabled loo as well. £3.20 all day that can be paid card and cash.

  • 4/5

Greta spot for exploring Ludlow, which is a gorgeous town and has some good walking in the area. It’s a big car park, level with well kept toilets. It is free from 6pm to 8am and 40p per hour during the day. There are some long spaces near the coach area and also next to the toilet block. The downside is that it’s near a couple of very busy roads so quite noisy over night.

  • 5/5

A nice town center park up. plenty of spaces, a couple of long ones that you'll find next to the coach area or places where you can put the back over the grass to fit in a space. Easy walk into town. few vans and mohos here tonight. recommended place for a sleep

  • 5/5

Great place to park, 5 mins from centre of Ludlow

  • 4/5

Great convenient stop for a night so we could visit the castle the next day. We parked up near the big clothing recycling bins, which also happens to be close to the back of Ludlow Youth Centre. The night we stayed there was a group of 4 or 5 youths that made a lot of noise for several hours, but we popped earplugs in and had a decent night's sleep.

  • 5/5

Stayed night and day here and had quiet night, easy to find level parking. Toilets open during day, short walk into Ludlow & the Church is lovely. Had walk along river topped off with visit to Leisure Centre Spa - £12 for 2 hours. Sat nav took me round the houses but follow signs for coach park and should be okay.

  • 4/5

No problem staying overnight here. Car park leaves a little to be desired and woken early by busses but perfectly usable.

  • 5/5

Stay here Sunday night overnight, great nights sleep. 3 other campers here too, free parking after 6pm until 8am. Toilets open all night which were clean.

  • 3/5

It’s a car park so basic, only toilets. But it’s free after 6pm and so close to such a wonderful and picturesque town centre. Will no doubt stay again.

  • 5/5

5 mins walk into town, nice and quite abs toilets open 24 hours. Free parking after 6 and all day Sunday

  • 5/5

Really close to city center, cheap tarrif, fairly quiet at night, good phone signal, toilets open all the time, felt safe

  • 5/5

Test centre now gone, used one of the three big bays next to the coach parking. Ludlow is amazing, we shall return.

  • 3/5

Currently a covid testing centre and a fraction of its usual size. MiPermit App trying to get me to pay £10 for some reason.

  • 5/5

Very cheap and handy to get into the town centre on foot. Little grass area for the dogs to go the toilet. Lovely town and castle.

  • 5/5

A large car park on the edge of Ludlow, a short walk into the beautiful town. Large bays for motorhomes and toilets. Free after 6pm and all day Sunday. Daytime parking is inexpensive and can be paid for in advance online from your phone. 4G and TV signal good. We enjoyed a pleasant night in this location which was popular with other motorhomes.

  • 5/5

Fantastic for overnight stay , three designated spaces for motothomes, toilets in carpark open until 7pm and only £2.00’for full day and you don’t pay after 6pm ideal for 5 min walk into the town centre.
