Wrekin Car Park! Parking gratuit pour un sentier pédestre menant à un beau sommet juste à l'extérieur de la ville de Telford. Aucune installation, sauf pour certains bacs. J'y ai dormi une nuit et nous étions le seul campeur. Lieu très fréquenté le matin avec les marcheurs / cyclistes.
Wrekin Car Park! The main carpark isn't free, but the road parking is. it can get VERY busy car park for a walking trail leading to a beautiful summit just outside the town of Telford. No facilities, save for some bins, all lanes coned to limit parking so get thete early.I Stayed one night- Sunday and was very busy with nightwalkets arriving after 10pm plus large groups young people "smoking" and revving cars till early hours.Theres a cafe bunkhouse- halway house but it was closed when I visited July 2020. Very busy spot in the mornings with walkers / cyclists arriving from 6am so dont expect a quiet nights kip... vans risk being blocked in as idiots park cars up centre , if you can get a parking space in first place!
Wrekin-Parkplatz! Kostenlose Parkplätze für einen Wanderweg zu einem wunderschönen Gipfel etwas außerhalb der Stadt Telford. Keine Installation, außer für einige Behälter. Wir waren hier für eine Nacht und wir waren die einzigen Camper. Morgens sehr belebter Ort mit Wanderern / Radfahrern.

Been here today, no height barrier, nothing saying no overnight parking. Good surface with many fairly level spaces. Payment can be made on mobile, (if you can get a signal) or there's a machine that takes payment after you've entered your reg number. ANPR cameras get your reg as you enter. Good spot but it'll get very busy in summer months and at weekends.

I live near here and regularly (every week) see ‘loads’ of parking fines on cars on the road TWC have really clamped down on people parking on road - it’s double yellows, parking between the large rocks won’t save you either. Parking is now totally chargeable on the revamped car park. There is a free car park further down the ‘one way system’ - by The Ercall but police do visit it - so I’m told.
Huge car park - park on the left hand side for a more level pitch. This car park now has cameras & pay machines but you can stay overnight. Cost is £4 for up to 12 hours so we simply bought a second ticket at 10:30pm to take us through to the morning. Beautiful walk up to the top of the Wrekin just across the road. Very quiet all night.
This spot now has a camera and a ticket machine. There's a bag over the machine so I'm unsure of when it's coming into place or how much it would cost.
Stayed here on the 1st Feb, arrived around 16:00 and it was busy. Managed to find a spot and settled in. Good quiet night but it was busy from early morning and at 8.00 it was crammed. Walkers, dogs and cyclists.
Nice spot for a night a couple of other camper vans were parked up here as well. lots of space
