Right on the main road, but not much traffic at night. There is a slight incline but for me it leveled out quite well and I had a decent nap. It seems to be used as a fly tipping spot as there are lots of half full paint cans left on the side. There are 3 bins placed along the length of the layby, but they don't seem to have been emptied in quite a while
