Do not attempt at night unless you're in a Micro Camper! never made it in a 6.5 meter motorhome.
Ferme Highridge. Vous pouvez vous installer le long de la longue allée ou franchir les portes et vous installer dans le champ arrière (s'il n'est pas loué). Belles vues, entouré par la nature. Ils ont des chiens, des paons, des canards, des poulets. 1 douche avec WC dans une pièce chauffée en plus de 2 cabines WC séparées. Éviers pour la vaisselle dans le champ arrière.
Highridge Farm. You can pitch up alongside the long driveway in or go through the gates and pitch up in the back field (if it’s not hired out). Beautiful views, surrounded by nature. They have dogs, peacock, ducks, chickens. 1 shower with toilet in a heated room in addition to 2 separate toilet cubicles. Sinks for washing up in back field.
Highridge-Farm. Sie können entlang der langen Einfahrt aufstellen oder durch die Tore gehen und auf dem hinteren Feld aufstellen (wenn es nicht vermietet ist). Schöne Aussicht, umgeben von Natur. Sie haben Hunde, Pfau, Enten, Hühner. 1 Dusche mit Toilette in einem beheizten Raum sowie 2 separate Toilettenkabinen. Waschbecken zum Abwaschen im hinteren Bereich.

M1nn323/05/2024Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht. £20 - am Telefon wollte man erst £30 haben, £20 sein aber auch ok. Schmale und schlechte Zufahrtswege zum Platz. Mit 2,20 m machbar, viel breiter darf das Auto nicht sein. Sanitär Anlagen angeblich vorhanden, weder gefunden, noch gefragt. Plätze bestehen nur aus Rasenflächen. Tor auch nachts auf. Besitzer sehr freundlich.

simonisparking30/10/2023Great site and location on the top of the hill. Ned, the campsite owner, is really friendly and was super helpful. Would recommend. No problem getting up track in our fiat ducato. You can approach from the west end of Frithsden Lane to avoid squeezing past any cars parked outside the Alford Arms and the turn into Roman Road is easier.
FannyFred15/08/2023Endroit super sympa, électricité, eau, wc, douches à disposition pour 35£ la journée/nuit. Les gens sont super sympa et arrangeant niveau horaires, passez un petit coup de fil avant mais je suis certaine que même sans vous y serez bien accueilli. Par contre je déconseille les gros camping car, nous sommes passés limite avec notre fourgon. Studios Harry Potter à 20mns
CCummins08/08/2023Good location close to Berkhampstead, which suits us. facilities were basic, but do include free hot electric shower, toilets, and EHU. location is up a hill, and along a narrow lane, but if you take it slowly, it's fine. we arrived late at night in the rain, and just pulled in and plugged in, no problem.

Stunning views, gastro pub 5 mins walk. Go up the single track road, behind the pub. The last 500m is a steep very narrow single track road, the last 100m is so narrow that brambles caught on both sides of my van simultaneously (Peugeot Boxer van conversion). Van scratched down both sides. Shower was rustic, so we used our own facilities.

Die Lage ist richtig toll. Dafür die 5 Sterne. Wir haben keine Dusche, keine Toilette genutzt, können dadurch auch nichts dazu schreiben. In 8 Gehminuten ist ein Pub, in dem wir richtig gut gegessen haben (The Alford Arms).

We tried to reach the camping with our campervan (7mtrs long, 3 mtrs high) and it turned out to be impossible to reach on a Sunday afternoon, mainly because of the narrow road leading to the place where cars parked in front of a adjacent pub.

I was almost alone when I stayed, just one other camper. Field was a bit squelchy but obviously grass is weather dependant! Beautiful surroundings and I got lucky with the weather/sunset, nice to have farm animals around as well. The owner is super relaxed for people to do whatever. Just take your rubbish, bring your own toilet roll and don’t ring the bell before 9am :D

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und konnten uns frei stellen. Die Flächen sind gerade und man steht auf gemähtem Rasen. Wir haben für zwei Erwachsene mit Baby und einem VW T4 20 £ für eine Nacht bezahlt.
