Stayed here last night in our 6m camper as a break in our journey to Holyhead for the ferry. Parking is in a quiet, level car park beside a lovely canal—very peaceful. We had a delicious dinner in the pub (note: last food orders at 8pm). Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a relaxed, pleasant feel. Ideal spot for an overnight stop. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed 3 Jan, so a very useful year-round location to break a north/south journey. It's so much more civilised than a motorway service station!
Called here on the off chance at 19:55 we ordered food and 2 plates of piping hot food was served. I then asked about stoping in the car park and was told not a problem but to go to rear car park and pull up alongside the canal the space was flat and quite throughout the night would highly recommend.
Fantastic location right on the canal next to the boats. Rang and booked in advance. Food very good and staff helpful and friendly. Great spot to break up a long journey back from Scotland. Thanks.
Lovely location alongside the canal and access to the towpath for walking is over a bridge next to the pub. Staff in the pub very friendly and helpful. Suggest booking for dinner a couple of days in advance as it is very busy but campervan parking is on first come first served basis. Recommended.
Fantastic overnight stop. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were too late to buy dinner and it wasn’t a problem Lovely park up with a view of the canal. Busy on a Wednesday night but we squeezed in at the end. Highly recommended
Great place to stop, nice dog walks along canal, got there after they had stopped serving food but had breakfast which was good. Friendly staff and locals, will definitely stop again.
Stayed last night fabulous place, friendly staff, lovely food, dog friendly and was Cheese Sunday which was a bonus. Would definitely stay again when in the area
Great location. Next to canal and beautiful walk along tow path. Food in pub ok. Reasonable value . Cheese night every Sunday and busy. Quite a lot of food sold out of menu by the time we got there …. Last food orders 7 pm. I Slept really well, car park was quiet although sone kind of fan/ aircon : heating system in pub was droning on and off through night which kept sone of our party awake.
Broughton Arms what a Great location, with super friendly staff and very helpful. Parked here on route overnight, nice quiet spot by the canal. We'll recommend a visit.
Lovely pub missed the food because we arrived late with an 8m motorhome and 4m trailer. The staff were super helpful. We reversed in against the canal bank and enjoyed a glass of wine. Car park quite big depending on how busy pub is lots of space to turn, park etc. Would recommend

Great location for a night's stop off. Very friendly staff. Free to stay just have a meal and some drinks and everyone's happy. Food is excellent Definitely be back and recommend.
Nice and level reverse back in towards the canal for larger vehicles. Good food, good stop.

Excellent pub stop nice quiet level car park, lovely aspect by the canal. Dog friendly pub with good value meals, a nice selection of beers and very friendly staff. Rate only marked down due to lack of facilities. Would come back in the summer, also convenient for our visit to Dealer.
Yes i easily recommend this stop. well recommended for food, warm welcome and comfortable environment. Good walk place for the dog too. Price of food and drinks very reasonable. Good parking space. lovely veiw of canal and countryside.
Super spot à l’écart de l’autoroute M6 (mais pas trop!) On est arrivé la nuit, le pub était déjà ja fermé, et c’est seulement le lendemain matin qu’on a remarqué qu’on était garé sur les quelques places DEVANT le pub alors que le grand parking est situé DERRIERE le pub ! Pas grave, la nuit fut très calme, et on a dû partir avant l’ouverture du pub à midi, dommage car il avait l’air super sympa!

Great place to park up if you can get a spot overlooking the canal. Spoke to a member of staff and she said fine to park overnight if buying food and/or drinks. Lovely canal walk and a shop a minute's walk away.
Absolutely fantastic pub stay over. Flat carpark, great views, nice walk routes and a great meal in the pub that is very reasonably priced. We read some reviews to say there was some road noise, but this was not the case for us. After about 10pm it went absolutely silent until about 7am, bearing in mind we stayed during the week. Recommended!
