a lovely pub, great food, although flat space on the carpark is very limited. the owners and locals are very friendly.
Bowling Green Pub. Pause rafraîchissement gratuite sur le parking, nuit calme avec un lever de soleil incroyable. Nous avons trouvé l'annonce dans Brit Stop, avons appelé à l'avance et sommes allés prendre un verre. La nourriture avait l'air bonne et bon marché, joli jardin. L'accès pour tout ce qui est plus grand qu'un camping-car peut être délicat, en haut d'une colline étroite, environ 5 places de parking plates. Fermé le lundi/mardi !!!
Bowling Green Pub. Free refreshment stop in the car park, quiet night with an amazing sunrise. We found the listing in Brit Stop, called ahead and popped in for a drink. Food looked good and cheap, lovely garden. Access for anything larger than a motorhome could be tricky, up a narrow hill, about 5 flat parking spaces. Closed Mon/Tues!!!
Bowling Green Pub. Kostenlose Einkehr auf dem Parkplatz, ruhige Nacht mit einem erstaunlichen Sonnenaufgang. Wir fanden die Auflistung in Brit Stop, riefen vor und schauten auf einen Drink vorbei. Das Essen sah gut und günstig aus, schöner Garten. Die Zufahrt zu etwas Größerem als einem Wohnmobil könnte schwierig sein, einen schmalen Hügel hinauf, ungefähr 5 flache Parkplätze. Mo/Di geschlossen!!!
Pub Bowling Green. Parada para refrigerio gratuito en el estacionamiento, noche tranquila con un amanecer espectacular. Encontramos el anuncio en Brit Stop, llamamos antes y entramos a tomar algo. La comida parecía buena y barata, el jardín era precioso. El acceso para cualquier cosa más grande que una autocaravana podía ser complicado, subiendo una colina estrecha, aproximadamente 5 espacios de estacionamiento planos. ¡¡¡Cerrado lunes y martes!!!
Bowling Green Pub. Punto di ristoro gratuito nel parcheggio, serata tranquilla con un'alba spettacolare. Abbiamo trovato l'annuncio su Brit Stop, abbiamo chiamato in anticipo e siamo entrati per un drink. Il cibo sembrava buono ed economico, grazioso giardino. L'accesso per qualsiasi cosa più grande di un camper potrebbe essere complicato, su una stretta collina, circa 5 posti auto pianeggianti. Chiuso lunedì/martedì!!!
Bowling Green Pub. Gratis versnapering op de parkeerplaats, rustige avond met een geweldige zonsopgang. We vonden de vermelding in Brit Stop, belden van tevoren en gingen even wat drinken. Het eten zag er goed en goedkoop uit, mooie tuin. Toegang voor alles wat groter is dan een camper kan lastig zijn, een smalle heuvel op, ongeveer 5 vlakke parkeerplaatsen. Maandag/dinsdag gesloten!!!

Mike_wood09/05/2022Great spot for an overnight stay. Lovely view down the valley. We were in a 7m motorhome, quite a tight road up, but plenty of space to turn around. Very friendly staff. Would watch out for Saturday night stays as it was loud with drinkers past midnight, but would stay again.
alexander121/03/2022Nice spot. Importantly, the Staff were welcoming and food and beer more than acceptable for a night. Arrive early to secure a good/level spot. We would visit again.

Rang ahead to make sure it was ok to stay and they were very polite and accommodating. Not many flat spots in carpark. Pub was very loud till gone midnight. Food was ok but cold, couldnt really complain because we were allowed to stay for free.
Mattoverland13013/07/2021Great place, great food, friendly staff. We pulled up in the day and was welcomed to stay over let us pull onto the grass in the beer garden overlooking the peaks rather than the carpark.

Popped in to arrange a campervan stopover but decided to go else where because of how rude the lady behind the bar was. I was willing to pay for a meal/ drinks in the pub for a thank you gesture for the stopover ( £70ish as you do) as I know how long these pubs have been shut over covid for. we managed to find other pub local which were alot more welcoming

Turned up at short notice for a meal and few drinks , food was lovely and big portions , let us stay on the car park in the camper for free , beautiful views from the beer garden with fire pits , ended up partying with the locals , super friendly , will be back soon

Lovely little pub. Stayed here 2 nights (fri & sat). Rang ahead, the lady said we could park anywhere on the carpark. The carpark I quite big, but is unsuitable for motor homes, as spaces are small and so are roads leading to the pub. Didn’t have to pay anything, but as a kind gesture having a drink/ some food is advised.
