Large carpark right on the sea front quite busy through the day with dog walkers but it was quiet at night when we were there, also reasonably level ground with a 6'6 height barrier.
No, no parking signs as far as I could see, beautiful view in the morning of all the wind turbines.

Car park by the beach. Height barrier of 2.10m. My 2.08m high top Fiat Doblo just fitted. Popular for dog walkers to park and also bird spotters. One other van stayed the night. There is a council layby just down the road but you don't get the views of the coast so opted for this one instead. Litter bins dotted around. No facilities.
Stayed here 13th July for 1 night. Height / width barrier issues for some but fine for VW style camper vans. Great spot, a bit cool at night. Did an others litter pick to show a bit of a care. If everyone did it we would be accepted a bit more. Walked all of Walney Island circuit.
Our first night in the new campervan. Stunning views, relaxing sounds of the sea waves and plenty of walks. Dog friendly. Height barrier on the way in. But our VW T6 fit under no problem.
I stopped here in my van on a Friday night. There was only one other car there and I was only joined briefly by one other car. The spot is very windy BUT absolutely beautiful. I woke up around 6am, no one else around accept a few dog walkers. 2.2 meter height restriction!
Stopped here for one night, quite over night only a few cars pulling in not too bad. Good views and nice beach walk!
lovely spot to stay at ... bin available. Good spot for walks. Thanks to the council for this scheme ... Great idea and we did spend some money in the town ... wish more councils would adopt this motorhime friendly approach.
this bay, away from the houses is a great spot to stay over night if its not windy. didn't see any height barriers. plenty of spaces and pretty much level. there is a qr code for over night stays to scan to log your stay. Barrow in furness have 4 different locations available in the area for campers to stay over night so check out their website.

Great secluded spot to park up. No issues camping overnight. Bit of noise from the ocean and early dog walkers but great little ocean view spot. Just a 2.1m height restriction into the parking area but plenty of space for multiple vehicles
A little exposed to sea winds, nice open views, quite quiet. 2.1m height restriction to the car park but there is road side parking nearby.
