Le parking est grand, avec un grand terrain de foot et parc, petite déception pour mes enfants, les jeux étaient plein de crottes d'oiseau. No elsan point signposted anywhere, but manhole covers at rear next to tap labelled for toilet unit cleaning. Très bien placé et pas cher pour visiter York et ses environs. Il faut appeler le propriétaire qui vient le soir pour faire payer. Aucune personne qui travaille sur le site sont en rapport avec la personne s'occupe du camping. Effectivement, il y a des douches communes et des WC. Mais bon, pour 10 livres, électricité compris, on ne peut pas faire non plus les difficiles.

I arrived in the day, no one around, a man mowing the pitch who didn't look over. A few caravans pitched up. It's an open, concrete car park, no barrier or gates or information. I can't see the difference between staying in a swimming pool car park and paying to swim. I didn't stay. Probably better to book ahead with this one.

This is a super site. The lady who runs it is great she can't do enough for you. Hot showers. Hard standing. EHU £15. Stayed here a couple of times, and it can't be beaten.

Great site for the close by Park and Ride into York. The couple on site were super friendly and accommodating, toilets were clean. Showers were sports changing room style which looked fine but we didn't use them. For an overnight at £11, couldn't go wrong! We had called ahead due to it being half term.

We just turned up at night without reservation. The Lady was very kind! We stayed for 1 night, felt safe and quiet at night! We parked on the hard surface. Very clean toilet and shower

La señora que nos recibió es estupenda, muy simpática y amable, estuvimos tres noches y dormimos bien, las descargas se realizan artesanalmente,no hay columna. Para visitar York es mejor y con el vehículo pues el autobús tarda mucho y el acceso a la parada es suicida. El pueblo de Ruffo está a diez minutos andando y hay un pub.

La femme qui nous accueille est vraiment adorable, elle nous a beaucoup renseigné ! C’est un petit endroit qui ne coûte pas cher (11£ sans électricité et 16£ avec), c’est très bien pour une nuit et pour dépanner. Les douches des hommes sont communes, pour celles des femmes elles peuvent se fermer donc elles peuvent d’être individuelles. Assez propre

Excellent spot for cheap night stop over on the outskirts of York. Facilities are basic but adequate, toilets/showers, rubbish disposal and outdoor taps for water/waste disposal. Elaine couldn’t have been more helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to use it again.

Cash only (wir haben £11 Pfund ohne Strom gezahlt). Alles sehr einfach - eine Möglichkeit zum Abspülen von Geschirr haben wir nicht gefunden. In unmittelbarer Nähe ein sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant auf dem kleinen Flugplatz.

Haben hier eine Nacht gestanden. Alles recht unkompliziert am Spielfeld und Clubhouse. 11 Pfund werden abends vom Besitzer eingesammelt und sind dafür ok. Ver- und Entsorgung möglich. Gemeinschaftsduschen recht alt, aber funktionieren.

Ce qui est dit avant est exact. Possibilité d’avoir l’électricité. Vidange eaux noires aussi. Lieu très calme. Une biche nous a rendu visite le soir

3 jeunes, van, pour 1 nuit : top. On a pu arrivé à l’heure que l’ont voulait (on a appelé un peu avant), c’est pas un hôtel 3 étoile, mais ça fais le travail. Douche plutôt clean. Et surtout prix qui vaut vachement le coût ! 11£ la nuit pour notre van. Eau chaude, douche collective (prenez des tongues). Par contre, pas d’électricité : que de l’eau.

Hard standing on sports club car park £15 with ehu for up to 5 vehicles. Toilet and shower facilities in the club, basic but clean, elsan and fresh water point. The site is quite isolated but there is an Italian restaurant/takeaway less than 5 walk away. Ideal for a 1 night stopover.

Prato molto grande. Bagno, carico e scarico acque grigie e nere. Costo 12 sterline senza elettricità. Bisogna chiamare un numero di telefono e parlare col responsabile. Solo contanti.

We arrived around 8pm and couldn't find anyone to check us in and no number or info anywhere. Asked some dog walkers and no one knew anything. There were a few vans parked in and around and a lot of junk too. Might have stayed if we could have found someone but the place didn't give us a great vibe. Seemed a bit run down so we left.

nice little stop off. no frills but has what's needed. there's a little play ground if you have kids. chemical waste disposal, water, showers, ehu. £13 with electric.
