Good pitch by the road. no doubt it gets quiet later on but it's a magnet for youngsters in cars. Good views, pub very close, no facilities, excellent phone signal.

Lovely little stopover. Walks nearby and views the other side. Next to the road but only a 30mph limit so it’s not loud. Good night’s sleep here.
robandhannah01/09/2024Stunning views, great for walking/hiking, next to a really nice pub. Close enough to walk into Ilkley town. We parked in our LWB van next to 2 other campers and plenty of room. Had a good night sleep so will definitely return here again

Good phone reception, also a 35 minute walk into Ilkley and a short walk up to the cow and calf.

While this parking is close to the road, it is very quiet at night with the beautiful views over the moors. Hiking trail up to the 12 Apostols stones starts just across the road.

Beautiful view to wake up to! Nice and level. I was the only camper. Road is a little busy, but got quiet around 10pm (it was Saturday night). Only drawback is that it’s quite a popular pull in space for people. So not totally peaceful.

Een plek voor als je geen alternatief hebt. Er rijdt veel verkeer langs en ‘s nachts rijden ze als gekken.

Beautiful view and woke up to find sheep happily grazing around the van. Slept really well and even though it was a Friday night I only had 1 car with the engine running for about half an hour and they were very quiet. Would definitely stop here again.
indiahollym23/06/2022Lovely view, very quiet overnight but in the morning lots of traffic on the road for rush hour (we stayed on a weekday). Pretty level though and easy to nip for a wild wee nearby. Had a lovely walk in the morning and a pub dinner at Cow&Calf (great toilets)! Xx

Great nights sleep. Very flat and large space. Three other campers there but no bother from anyone. Road is quiet during the night and beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Wonderful little spot great nights sleep nice and flat beautiful views, went on to cow and calf cafe in the morning for breakfast.
LozT2511/02/2022First stayed here in Christmas Eve 2021 two other vans already there when I arrived. Blissful nights sleep and woke up to views of cow and calf rocks! There is a pub 2 mins walk by the same name. Great food and drink. Nice for a one off. Expect, dog walkers, climbers and hikers during the day. No signage regarding overnight stays. Just one saying don’t block the driveway that leads off it.
