Prima camping. £14 voor 1 persoon 1 nacht zonder elektra. Wc’s prima, douche erg minimaal.
Phil est le propriétaire et très accueillant mais vous laisse à vous-même. Le camping est charmant avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et la mer. Le site est très central à Porlock et est situé au centre du village mais vous ne le sauriez pas. Porlock est TRÈS chien amical! Il y a un excellent chippy à 30 secondes de marche, un longeron et un arrêt à distance de marche. 3 pubs charmants et de nombreux autres magasins merveilleux. Village de Porlock Wier, Bossington et Horner à environ un mile 1/2 du site. Recommande fortement.
Phil is the owner and very welcoming but leaves you to your own devices. The campsite is lovely with stunning views of the mountains and sea. The site is very central to Porlock and is situated in the centre of the village but you wouldn't know it. Porlock is VERY dog friendly! There is an excellent chippy 30 seconds walk away, a spar and a stop within walking distance. 3 lovely pubs and many other wonderful shops. Porlock village Wier, Bossington and Horner about a mile 1/2 from the site. Highly recommend.
Phil ist der Besitzer und sehr gastfreundlich, lässt Sie aber auf sich allein gestellt. Der Campingplatz ist wunderschön und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Der Platz liegt sehr zentral in Porlock und liegt im Zentrum des Dorfes, aber man merkt es nicht. Porlock ist SEHR hundefreundlich! 30 Sekunden zu Fuß entfernt gibt es einen ausgezeichneten Chippy, Spar und Haltestelle sind zu Fuß erreichbar. 3 schöne Kneipen und viele andere wunderbare Geschäfte. Dorf Porlock Wier, Bossington und Horner, etwa eine halbe Meile vom Standort entfernt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

ben242405/11/2024more junkyard than caravan site. the most basic facilities we've seen. the owner never leaves his house, so nothing has been checked. found left clothes, kitchen equipment and tents. bathrooms are not clean, so full of spiders and mosquitos and this was England in November!
Brownie0623/06/2024Great location in the heart of Porlock. We only stayed one night. £14 per adult. There's plenty of room and I can imagine that it gets quite busy in the school holidays. Needs more toilets and showers but we would stay again. Easy access to the coast path and a nice walk to Porlock Weir for a pint at the Ship Inn aka bottom ship.

Stayed one night. Nice site in good location and despite the number of campers it was quiet. The toilet facilities however leave a lot to be desired. Not enough of them, no toilet paper and no paper hand towels. £30 for two adults without electric. This has been our average price in Wales where we have had excellent facilities

Bon, que dire ! Le propriétaire vous accueille dans sa cuisine, atelier, bureau et autres selon activités. L’endroit est calme, vue sur mer, proximité immédiate du centre ville avec magasins, restaurants, pub. Pour le reste, le bloc sanitaire est….très rustique, les emplacements non délimités sont à priori assez grands avec possibilité d’électricité. Sur le terrain à différents endroits un joyeux capharnaüm d’objets divers entassés (reste ancienne cabanes, baignoire, évier etc…). Le prix de 34 livres pour deux personnes avec électricité est élevé, pour une nuit, pour ke calme et la vue l’arrêt est sympathique malgré tout.

The owner is very welcoming and genuinely friendly. The site is easy to find and in a beautiful location, it's also very close to the little village main street where you can find pretty much everything you need. Facilities are spacious and everything works.
WebTommi27/08/2023Ein schöner, einfacher Platz mit einem freundlichen und entspannten Betreiber. Am Eingang stand zwar ein Hinweis, dass ausgebucht wäre bzw. man nur mit Buchung reinkommt, aber das war durch einen Anruf beim Betreiber problemlos zu klären. Da wir keinen Strom brauchten, konnten wir auf der Wiese einen Platz frei wählen (und am nächsten Vormittag in seiner Wohnküche-Rezeption bezahlen).

Wat een mooie camping met schitterend uitzicht op de bergen en de zee. Te voet naar de zee is een klein half uurtje. Camping ligt zowat in het dorp met een pub, supermarkt, restaurants en wat winkeltjes. Sanitair is wat verouderd maar alles voldoet prima. Vriendelijke eigenaar

Großer freier Rasenplatz mit schöner Aussicht und guter Anbindung an den Coast Path. Netter Ort mit netten Pubs. Sanitäre Anlagen haben morbiden Scharm, oder besser gesagt, sind aus den 70ern und wurden nie renoviert. Ansonsten liegt viel Schrott rum. Wer es rustikal mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben für 24£ pro Nacht ohne Strom.

Phil was very helpful. Beautiful view. Fantastic rainbows. Nicely spaced out pitches. Showers, water, electricity, microwave, kettle, washing machine, etc. Very close to sea, shops and pubs. Lovely little village. Went for 1 night but stayed longer. 2 people in a camper with a dog.

Ich weiß ja nicht wo die Beurteiler vorher waren, aber fünf Sterne NEVER. Wer Jugendherbergen aus den 80ern kennt ist hier gut aufgehoben. Sanitäre Einrichtungen ALT STINKEND ZU WENIGE TOILETTEN. Aussicht und Lage waren sehr gut. Sich selbst nen Platz suchen macht Spaß. Phil hat keine Zeit TV läuft. Kosten 30 Pfund 1 Kastenwagen und 2 Erw. Gleich ums Eck, selber Preis, Ausstattung top.

Had a lovely stay here. Close to village with enough places to eat or buy groceries. Large site with lovely views. Phil saw us to our spot then left us to it which was nice. Lovely hot showers and kept very clean. Washing machine,tumbledryer and fridge/freezer available to use free. Loved it so much, returning in August...this time with the motorbike.

Die drei Sterne gibt es für die schöne Lage, mitten im Ort und trotzdem ruhig und mit Meerblick. Hier steht man auf einer großen Wiese und kann sich seinen Platz frei wählen, mit oder ohne Strom. Ansonsten ähnelt der Platz eher einer Müllkippe. Überall an den Rändern stapelt sich Altmetall, Ölfässer und verrottetes Holz. Die Sanitäranlagen sind alt und sehr schmutzig.

This is a lovely site, the owner is very friendly and just leaves you to get on with it.. minutes walk from porlock village with enough pubs and shops . A lovely walk just out of the gate via the pebble beach to porlock weir. Always Clean toilets and hot showers. EHU grass pitches. Highly recommend
